De Beste ADHD Video's voor Leiders: Wetenschap, Verhalen, Strategie
Here are a few high-quality videos on ADHD and leadership. A curated shortlist, grouped by what each brings to my previous blog post on ADHD and Leadership (De ADHD-leider).
The science on ADHD and Leadership
Russell Barkley, “ADHD, Self-Regulation and Executive Functioning.” Barkley is the leading authority behind the executive-function model of ADHD, exactly the frame your article uses (attention isn’t the deficit; self-regulation is). This is the authoritative grounding for your “evidence” section. Watch
The more human hook (lived experience)
Jessica McCabe, “Failing at Normal: An ADHD Success Story” (TEDxBratislava, ~17 min, 10M+ views). Warm, honest, hopeful, the emotional counterpart to your Daniel narrative, and the origin story of her huge “How to ADHD” channel. Watch
Herdefiniëring the strengths & pioneering
Stephen Tonti, “ADHD as a Difference in Cognition, Not a Disorder” (TEDxCMU). Reframes ADHD as a cognitive difference rather than a defect, which lines up neatly with the “pioneers” and strengths framing, without over-claiming. Watch
Most on-topic for leaders specifically
“Why do executives have ADHD coaches?” A short, direct piece on high-achievers and ADHD coaching, closest to my own angle. Watch
One to watch with care: “Is Your ADHD Actually a Leadership Superpower?” (WIL Talk #203). I find this useful and recent, but it leans into the exact “superpower” framing my evidence section deliberately qualifies, so if you watch it, keep in mind that the advantages are real but always context-dependent (!!).
