Event description
A 1 hour live event to learn about key skills leaders require when dealing with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA). It’s not about learning the skills, its about becoming aware of the need for maybe new skills to learn, and understand why.
In previous live-events we discussed:
- How does VUCA look like at the work place and what leadership tools/capabilities can we consider to use?
- Why does VUCA exist, is it real and what is it going to mean in the next decade?
In this live-event, I will introduce how you can become more aware of the VUCA requirements and what this means for our leadership skills.
EVENT CONTENT
- Quick summary of VUCA essentials, principles & challenges.
- Skill 1: Creating a safe space to work and interact respectfully (inclusive).
- Skill 2: Understand how to create and work with teams that act both virtual and at the office, and what complications do we need to better understand because of the mix?
- Skill 3: Identifying your limiting beliefs that stand in between your approach and what employees these days require (demand).
The live-event content is designed together with senior managers and executives, sharing many years of international experience and knowledge. My access to the HBR library has also helped shaping the content.
The format of the live-event will be 30 minutes of presenting the 5 challenges and 30 minutes questions & answers, with hopefully a lively discussion amongst session participants to see the VUCA challenges from more perspectives then the ones presented.
The live-event will be recorded and made available afterwards. Live attendees will receive materials used to present the content.
