Carrying stress well

A practical session for people who are good at handling things.

About the session

What we did together

This workshop is built for capable, high-pressure teams — the people others lean on, who tend to carry more than they let on. The aim isn’t to teach you to relax. It’s to give you an honest, shared picture of how you meet pressure, and a few practical moves that make it lighter to carry.

  • A shared language for stress. Nine dimensions across mindset, load, your coping repertoire, boundaries and reaching out — grounded in established research, not pop psychology.
  • Hands-on practice, not theory. Live exercises — Make the Ask (asking for help), Hold the Line (boundaries done well), and the Five-Minute Reset (a short, evidence-based breathing practice).
  • Leverage over effort. We find the one or two coping moves that give you the most relief — usually asking and boundaries — rather than asking you to improve on every front.
  • Practical and repeatable. Everything is designed to be used the same week, in the real conditions you work in.

Your personal stress profile

A mirror, not a diagnosis

Before we met, you completed a short questionnaire. From it, each of you received a personal stress profile — a picture of how you currently carry pressure across the nine dimensions, on a simple 0–100 scale.

It’s deliberately framed as a mirror, not a verdict: it reflects how you described yourself on one day, not a fixed judgement of who you are. That picture is the starting point for the work. It locates your lowest healthy lever — the change that buys the most — separates the strengths worth protecting from the edges worth growing, and points each edge at a concrete practice. In short, it turns a vague sense of “I’m stressed” into something specific and workable — and gives the whole team a shared map to build from.
