De meeste mannen ervaren kracht, vrouwen warmte. Maar we hebben beide nodig voor een succesvolle relatie, zowel in het bedrijfsleven als in het leven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je kunt het niet voor de hand doen. Het moet vanuit binnenuit komen. We moeten onze eigen zelfvertrouwen opbouwen, zodat we de vaardigheden en strategie\u00ebn hebben om het meeste aan te kunnen. Vanuit deze innerlijke kracht van zelfvertrouwen kunnen we ons ontspannen en laten onze warmte en kracht schijnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ik lees het boek \u201cCompelling people \u2013 the hidden qualities that make us influential\u201d van John Neffinger en Matthew Kohut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In het boek wordt ons een belangrijk concept van de inner circle voorgesteld: we kunnen het best overtuigen wanneer we binnen de kring worden geaccepteerd \u2014 d.w.z. wanneer we begrip en empathie voor hun situatie hebben (warmte). Pas dan kunnen we onze argumenten horen (kracht). Ze defini\u00ebren drie stappen: Aannemen, Empathie tonen en Dan Leiding geven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als we ons sterk voelen, voelen we ons niet bedreigd en kunnen we ons ontspannen en warm zijn. Kracht komt voort uit vertrouwen in onze eigen capaciteiten. Warmte helpt ons contact te maken. Om volledig verbonden te zijn met anderen, moeten we eerst sterk zijn van binnen. Er is een grote kracht wanneer zowel warmte als kracht samenwerken. Mensen hebben dan een \u2018aanwezigheid\u2019. We hebben diepere relaties met de mensen om ons heen en bereiken veel meer.
