Haar woorden vonden weerklank bij mij, omdat ze raken aan een thema dat vaak over het hoofd wordt gezien in organisaties: de kracht van ervaring in een snel veranderende wereld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Annette beschreef hoe mensen haar op verschillende leeftijden verschillende dingen vertelden: te jong, te druk met andere prioriteiten, te laat of te oud. Toch ontdekte ze dat ware kracht niet in de leeftijd zelf ligt, maar in de ervaring en perspectieven die met de jaren groeien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En dat is precies wat we nodig hebben in een VUCA-wereld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VUCA vraagt om ervaring<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VUCA staat voor Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity - begrippen die de werkomgeving van vandaag defini\u00ebren. Organisaties zijn op zoek naar leiders en medewerkers die niet alleen met verandering kunnen omgaan, maar er ook richting aan kunnen geven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In deze context is ervaring geen bagage - het is een superkracht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Volatiliteit: Wanneer alles sneller dan ooit verandert, biedt ervaring referentiepunten. Mensen die crises, reorganisaties of marktverstoringen hebben meegemaakt, hebben een bredere mentale gereedschapskist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Onzekerheid: Onzekerheid vereist moed en vertrouwen. Deze kwaliteiten groeien doordat je situaties hebt doorstaan waarvan de uitkomst onduidelijk was.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complexiteit: Complexiteit kan verlammend werken, tenzij je de ervaring hebt om patronen te ontwarren en verbanden te herkennen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ambigu\u00efteit: Ambigu\u00efteit vraagt om het verdragen van meerdere waarheden tegelijk. Mensen met levens- en werkervaring kunnen dingen in perspectief plaatsen en duidelijkheid scheppen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De waarde van de \u201cervaren generatie\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maar al te vaak ligt de nadruk op jeugd en snelheid, terwijl ervaring wordt gezien als traag of achterhaald. Maar in werkelijkheid zijn ervaren professionals vaak de stabiliserende factor in een VUCA-omgeving:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ze nemen scherpere beslissingen, juist omdat ze weten wat er mis kan gaan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ze brengen focus in een wereld vol lawaai en afleiding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ze wachten niet langer op toestemming, maar nemen het heft in eigen handen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Zoals Annette schrijft: \u201cOnze beste tijd is nu.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Een oproep aan leiders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als leiders hebben we de verantwoordelijkheid om ervaring niet alleen te erkennen, maar er ook doelbewust gebruik van te maken. Dat betekent:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stel teams samen waarin generaties elkaar aanvullen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zie ervaring niet als een eindpunt, maar als een bron van innovatie en veerkracht.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bied senior professionals de ruimte om op te treden als mentor en strategische denker.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In een VUCA-wereld zou de kracht van ervaring wel eens het verschil kunnen zijn tussen overleven en floreren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wat denk jij?
