Door je gedrag, gewoontes en zelfs je fouten, herprogrammeren je hersenen zichzelf. Dit fenomeen wordt <strong data-start=\"498\" data-end=\"517\">neuroplasticiteit<\/strong>-en het betekent dat verandering altijd mogelijk is. Leer hoe de hersenen zichzelf voortdurend veranderen.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"779\"><strong data-start=\"564\" data-end=\"583\">Waarom het belangrijk is:<\/strong><br data-start=\"583\" data-end=\"586\" \/>In een VUCA-wereld vol onzekerheid en druk is dit goed nieuws. Het betekent dat veerkracht, aanpassingsvermogen en betere besluitvorming geen vaste eigenschappen zijn. Het zijn vaardigheden die je hersenen kunnen ontwikkelen.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"799\"><strong data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"799\">Belangrijkste opmerkingen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"1539\">\n<li data-start=\"801\" data-end=\"1025\">\n<p data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"1025\"><strong data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"828\">Verandering leidt tot verandering<\/strong><br data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"831\" \/>Elke keer dat je iets nieuws leert of jezelf uitdaagt, maken je hersenen nieuwe neurale paden aan. Deze veranderingen zijn afhankelijk van ervaring. Herhaling, inspanning en reflectie maken het verschil.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1212\">\n<p data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1212\"><strong data-start=\"1030\" data-end=\"1063\">Leren is zeer individueel<\/strong><br data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1066\" \/>Geen twee hersenen veranderen op dezelfde manier. Dit betekent dat coaching, training en leiderschap rekening moeten houden met persoonlijke leerstijlen en emotionele realiteiten.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1384\">\n<p data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1384\"><strong data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1236\">Fouten zijn belangrijk<\/strong><br data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1239\" \/>Strijd en mislukking zijn essentieel. Ze activeren het leren op een manier die succes niet kan. Neuroplasticiteit gedijt wanneer we uit de automatische piloot worden gehaald.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1539\">\n<p data-start=\"1389\" data-end=\"1539\"><strong data-start=\"1389\" data-end=\"1425\">Je bent je eigen beste experiment<\/strong><br data-start=\"1425\" data-end=\"1428\" \/>Er is niet \u00e9\u00e9n manier om je hersenen opnieuw te bedraden. Maar intentie en oefening zijn de sleutel. Consistentie boven intensiteit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1565\"><strong data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1563\">Citaat om te onthouden:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1641\">\n<p data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1641\"><em data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1629\">\u201cDe beste motor voor verandering in je hersenen is je gedrag.\u201d<\/em> - Lara Boyd<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1912\"><strong data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1666\">Inzicht in leiderschap:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1666\" data-end=\"1669\" \/>VUCA stelt niet alleen je vaardigheden op de proef, maar daagt ook je denken uit. Als je wilt gedijen, heb je niet alleen betere gewoonten nodig. Je hebt hersenen nodig die getraind zijn op behendigheid, empathie en reflectie. En het goede nieuws is: je kunt die hersenen opbouwen - op elke leeftijd.<\/p>\n<p>In deze klassieke, op onderzoek gebaseerde TEDx Talk beschrijft Dr. Lara Boyd hoe neuroplasticiteit je de kracht geeft om het brein te vormen dat je wilt. Opgenomen tijdens TEDx Vancouver in Rogers Arena op 14 november 2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Over Dr. Lara Boyd:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Onze kennis van de hersenen ontwikkelt zich in een adembenemend tempo en Dr. Lara Boyd bevindt zich in de voorhoede van deze ontdekkingen. In 2006 werd ze aangeworven door de Universiteit van British Columbia om de Canada Research Chair in Neurobiology and Motor Learning te worden. Sindsdien heeft ze het Brain Behaviour Lab opgericht, meer dan 40 afgestudeerde studenten aangeworven en opgeleid, meer dan 80 artikelen gepubliceerd en meer dan $5 miljoen aan financiering toegekend gekregen.
